This year’s program is designed to encourage interaction and problem solving with our nursing colleagues, as well as the opportunity for networking among BC Cancer Agency and Communities Oncology Network partners.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the signs and symptoms related to the sexual adverse effects of cancer treatment, management options, and patient teaching recommendations
  • Describe the most current treatment protocols available for Lymphoma and Myeloma and understand the rationale behind treatment decisions related to these these malignancies
  • Discuss the BC Cancer Agency Oncology Pharmacist Education Programs
  • Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of various Closed IV Systems
  • Present highlights from the Northern Health Regional Cancer Care Team
  • Discuss new drugs and landmark trials in ovarian cancer
  • Provide an approach for identifying and evaluating the significance of drug interactions related to cancer treatment
