As the co-chairs of the BC Cancer Agency Annual Cancer Conference, we are delighted to invite our oncology colleagues to join us December 1 to 3, 2011, at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver to explore the theme: Improving Cancer Care Through Partnerships.
All Oncology Disciplines and Specialty Groups Represented
Now in its 8th successful year, the BC Cancer Agency Annual Cancer Conference continues to provide oncology professionals with a nationally recognized, interdisciplinary program. This is an opportunity for all cancer disciplines and specialty groups to engage and share the most current developments in basic science, translational research, clinical trials, prevention, treatment, safety, clinical and palliative care, ethics and survivorship.
International, National and Regional Partnerships
The 2011 theme focuses on a range of cancer care partnerships including: overseas projects; BC Cancer Agency participation in national, inter-provincial and regional initiatives; internal Agency collaborations across disciplines and platforms; community and patient engagement programs; northern and rural outreach; and much more. The conference also includes an exhibitor area where oncology professionals can connect and interact with industry partners and other health-care affiliated organizations.
