
Dear Researchers,
We are ready to show you off to the delegates at the BC Cancer Agency Annual Cancer Conference Poster Session! Just submit any poster abstract you have already presented in the last year or the abstract for your new work.
All abstracts must be submitted by this date. Accepted abstracts will be published in the high-quality, Programme and abstract booklet with poster information and contact details.
The Scientific Committee will review abstracts and notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent via e-mail to the presenting author by Tuesday October 11, 2011. If you have not received notification by this date, please contact the poster coordinator at abstracts@bccancer.bc.ca.
Accepted presenting authorsmust register online for the conference and must be prepared to attend a viewing and judging event, 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, Friday, December 2, 2011, and possibly present their poster orally at the conference. Presenters may also be requested to attend the Awards Banquet on December 2, 2011. You will be emailed with additional information by October 11, 2011.
All posters in each of the categories will be considered for a poster award. Judging is based on scientific merit, visual presentation and significance of the research.
You are required to register if your abstract is accepted. Submitting an abstract does not mean that you are automatically registered for the meeting! Please register at (online registration).
If you require the assistance of BC Cancer Agency Multi-Media Services in the preparation and/or printing of your poster, the final deadline for submission of work to their department is Tuesday, November 1, 2011. No poster work or print orders will be accepted by Multi-Media after this date.
